Quality, CUSTOM HAND MADE TATTOO MACHINES

SOVEREIGN 12 AUXILIARY POTENTIOMETER Boxes

And more to come…

Louder and faster…

Quality handmade coil tattoo machines from Jon Sweet. Built from scratch from the frame up using the best, dependable components I can get my hands on.

These are not “production” machines. The three piece frames are brazed in house, the coils are all hand wound, and I cut each and every one of my springs by hand. These machines are individually tuned to run how I like to use them when I tattoo. However I’d be happy to build and tune a machine to your preference. Liners are long and strong in the stroke, and depending on the coils some are more punchy than others. The shaders are tuned to be smooth and strong. These machines can handle the full range of anything you’ll need ‘em for, from those soft delicate fades to big old whips, black and grey to packing solid color!

Each and every machine is properly broken in before I send it out. I try to run each of them for a hot minute to make sure everything is good to go, and as such there may be some small blemishes by the time you get your hands on em…

The SOVEREIGN 12 Battery Potentiometer Box is a simple and compact upgrade to the traditional auxiliary rheostat used to control the voltage supplied to your machines by a 12V battery. Built with a 10 turn Bourns potentiometer to give you a nice smooth ride across the voltage range, The Sovereign 12 allows for significantly more precise adjustments, all with the crisp and clean 12V DC power that batteries provide. The twin LED display indicates both the supply voltage to your machines as well as the voltage level of your battery. Everything is all wrapped inside a super solid and compact powder coated aluminum enclosure that’s easy to clean. Each Sovereign 12 box includes a power cable to hook up to your battery. If you run batteries, you should definitely take one of these for a spin!

The SOVEREIGN 12 Battery Potentiometer Boxes are built by hand in small runs. That being said there might be some variation in the hardware we use to finish them. The knobs, case hardware and washers are all “you get what you get” at this time. But don’t sweat it, they will all look slick when you get ‘em….
